Our founder first encountered the story of Princess Wencheng in a school library. Years later, after leaving an unfulfilling desk job and experiencing a failed business partnership, that early interest helped inspire a journey to Tibet.

The journey included setbacks, including a vehicle breakdown. A local villager helped arrange a tow to a nearby repair shop, an act of kindness that left a lasting impression.

Time spent visiting the region and reflecting on Buddhist culture shaped the idea for Buddhist Temple Shop: an online store focused on Buddhist-inspired jewelry, meditation accessories, and gifts. We share this as our founder's personal story, not as a claim that every product has a specific religious or regional provenance.
