THE FOUNDER'S STORY

From an Early Story to a Journey West

Our founder first encountered the story of Princess Wencheng in a school library. Years later, after leaving an unfulfilling desk job and experiencing a failed business partnership, that early fascination became part of the motivation to travel to Tibet.

The journey was not smooth. A vehicle breakdown left the trip temporarily stranded until a local villager helped arrange a tow to a nearby repair shop. That simple act of kindness became one of the moments that stayed with the founder long after the journey ended.

Time spent in the region, seeing Buddhist culture woven into everyday life and meeting people along the way, helped shape the idea for Buddhist Temple Shop: a place for Buddhist jewelry, meditation pieces and meaningful gifts connected with prayer, compassion, protection, peace and mindful intention.
